Hi Everyone! Well we just want to let everyone know that we will not be doing any new posts for a while. We are leaving for two weeks. We originally were only going to be gone for one week for our vacation but, Cody is working in Vernal next week. So I thought that Raely and I would tag along. Then from Vernal we go to Mexico!!! Be sure to check our blog on the 9th. I will have all kinds of pictures from our cruise. We have some good news too. We have FINALLY received our settlement on the car crash that I was in about a year and a half ago. It is about time too! Now we get to pay medical bills, YEAH. Anyways, we love and miss you all and hope to see you soon.

Today we received Raely's new bedroom set. She is so excited to have a big girl bed! It really is pretty. The pictures don't do it justice. We figured that she is close enough to two that it was time to take her out of the crib. We love and miss you all!

Hi everyone. Well things have been kind of crazy around here. They have been good though. We got some good news. We are finally getting part of my settlement. That will be a big help with all the hospital bills. I tried going back to work for a little bit but that didn't work. Not only did Raely have separation issues but she also got really sick. Every day that I was there she was getting worse. So I decided to come home so she could be in her own environment and get better. She is pretty much better. Every now and then her nose gets a little runny. We are getting pretty excited for our cruise. It is only a couple weeks away now. I can't wait. I need a vacation! We love and miss you all!

Well as most of you know, my brother and his family moved up to Casper and are staying with us until the can find a place. Here is Raely and baby Qwaniesha. Raely sure does love that baby. She follows Paula everywhere she goes with that baby just to try to get a glimpse of that baby. She loves kissing that baby too! One day she will make a great big sister.

Hi everyone. Well we have had some unusual weather for January. It has been in the 50's believe it or not. Raely is finally big enough to start enjoying her playground that we bought for her almost a year ago. She loves the slide. She really loves when her Dad holds her up high on the swing and lets her go. We hope that all is well and everyone is in good health. We love and miss you all!

Someone played to hard!

Well we made it back to Casper in one piece. That was one of the hardest weeks of my life. I just want to thank Mike and Jean with all the help with Raely. They watched her for some of the viewing and the funeral. On top of our tough week, Raely and I are pretty sick. I think with all of the stress, our immune system was down and that is how we got so sick. For all of our family and friends that we didn't get to visit, I am very sorry. Raely and I will be back to Vernal in two weeks and promise to see you then. My Grandma's funeral was very beautiful. It was so hard to know that I would never get to see her again, but it was nice to see her out of pain. My Grandpa is still in a little bit of shock. He does seem to get a little better every day though. I was just very happy that we could be there to help him through it.

We have some bad news. My Grandma Sperry passed away last night at about eight. It was very hard to see her go. She was an amazing woman and was such a big part of my life. At this point we are all still trying to find our way. She had a lot of family all around her when she passed. I don't think she knew just how many lives she touched. Her viewing will be Thursday and the funeral will be Friday. I don't know what I will do without her. I know that my life will never be the same without her. I am very thankful for the little family reunion that we did have at Thanksgiving. I know that meant the world to her. She will be missed!

Happy New Year! We had a very fun new year. We had some friends over for New Year's Eve and played some games. Our friends Tonya and Heath came all the way out from Vernal. We had a lot of fun with them. With the good news comes the bad. My Grandma was life flighted to Provo last night. They were only thinking that she had only a few days, but they have stabilized her. Thank you God.

Merry Christmas! This year has been a good year for us. We have been very blessed. Raely surprises us every day with something new. She is not even two and she can already count to 10! We added another member to the family. For Christmas we got Raely a pet gerbil. Lets just say that it is a lot easier than a dog! His name is Olie and he is only a couple months old. She loves him! Cody is doing so well at work. He has also started his own business and we have just made our first official sell. He was so excited. We hope that this next year is as good to us as the last and we hope that every one has a better year. Our plans for this next year is to go a cruise in February, go to Minnesota in May, and MAYBE add another little one to the family. Just for all you speculators, that doesn't mean that we are having one now. Good luck to everyone in the new year and we love and miss you all!

She truly is a little angel. The bottom photo is Raely just one year ago. I can't believe what the last year has brought us. We have been so blessed. Raely is the our inspiration. I never new that being a parent could be so much fun. I thought that it would be more difficult than what it has been. Just watching children in the grocery store and seeing them throw fits and tantrums. I was not looking forward to that age. Luckily I have a very well behaved child. Cody and I even joke with her if we see a child acting out and tell her "Don't get any ideas!" I am very grateful to have such an amazing child.

Raely is such a good helper. Every morning she helps me turn on all the lights. Then she tells me how beautiful they are.

Happy Holidays!!! Thanksgiving was so much fun. We started our Thanksgiving by going to My Grandma Sperry's house. We had a wonderful little family reunion. The food at Grandma's house was to die for. We have never been so full in our lives. After Grandma's we went to Mike and Jean's. I think that was the most fun that Raely has ever had in her life. The kids chased each other for hours. Raely slept so good that night. We got to see alot of family while we were there. We just never have enough time to get a good visit in with everyone. Mike and Jean rented some condos in Park City which was a lot of fun. I am surprised that they didn't kick us out because Papa was letting the three little ones (Raely, Alex, Terrix) Run down the hall screaming and laughing at 8:00 a.m. To sum it all up, we had a really good time with the entire holiday. Hope all is well. See you at Christmas!
